Growth Equity

Growth equity is a minority or control investment in a relatively mature, fast-growing company that needs capital to scale, typically using little or no debt. It sits between venture capital and buyout: the businesses are past the startup stage but still expanding rapidly. Returns come mainly from revenue and earnings growth rather than leverage or cost cutting.
