Fund-of-Funds (FoF)

A fund-of-funds pools investor capital and invests it across many underlying PE funds rather than directly into companies. It offers diversification and access to managers that individual investors might not reach, in exchange for an extra layer of fees. It is a common way smaller institutions and individuals get exposure to private equity.
